Going to the U S A

Ming and I are definitely going to US this year! In fact, very soon! We have bought our tickets to LA and NY and over the next few months we will be planning our itineries and everything.. I haven't gone overseas with Ming since we started going out, and this would be a good time to experience something new together, and perhaps reevaluate where our relationship will be heading to..

Last night, Ming and I were listening to club music, the ones we were so familiar with, when all of us girls were dancing with glosticks and struttin our dance moves on the stages at RISE, CHuRch etc..hahahaha it was so funny listening to cocaine, anthem, blabla..it seemed so ancient ago when i last heard those music..

it never really occured to me that the gap of years between myself and ming is quite big! 7 years! apart from work and career wise, i feel we are sort of at the same level!! hrmm (ssh don't tell him that or i will be in trouble! hehehee)

I really can't wait to go on a big trip again..although i really hate flying..but I just love the destination..i love to explore and spend!! In the past, I would go on journeys at least every twice a year, it has been more than 14 months now for me since i did that..Back in uni days, I was more concerned about the whole journey thing, and how it would later on reflect on what i would do..at that particular time in my life.. But now, its not too much on journey anymore..maybe i ve grown up..i just want to GET AWAY to the next PLACE and LIVE again haha..don't know if that makes sense..

Tina, where have you been? you have to update your blog!! J and Mel, I luvv reading your blogs..they always always make me laugh!! and Yen, to me you are the pioneer for blogging..since the time you went to the UK..i luvv reading your postings, and vseeing the amazing pictures..its like i can vicariously experience them as well hahahaha (although it will never compare to the real thing!!)

Its 2006!!

Wow..its here huh..2006! I can still remember 1996 so clearly!! Few years ago, I worry about what I will be wearing to parties on the weekend..right now, I worry about paying my bills and the fine lines appearing on my face!!

I ve started the new year by attempting to stay healthier..I stepped into my apartment gym today, and proud to say i sweat like anything!! only spend 15 mins on the treadmill, but hey, I have never felt so worked for a looooongg time..
Do i feel more energised? hrmm..I think my mind is definitely feeling so..but my body is still slowly adjusting..I still love my sleeping time on the weekends hehee..i did nap for 2 hours this arvo heheeee

i am hoping that i can keep posting new things and blogging..so keep encouraging me girls!!

i can hardly wait to see y'all in april (just to be sure, its the easter weekend around 16th right?) good.. because i should be back that week! planning a getaway to NYC just before!! excited! (leave hasnt veen approved yet..boss will give me an answer next week..pray hard)

Reflection

Happy New Year everyone! I have to say that I am not very good at updating my blog!! I will try to post more this year hopefully!!

Looking at my past resolutions for 2005 posted in my old blog (xanga site), its sad to say that I haven't accomplish much!! :(

Predictions for the New Year - 2005

- Be very Rich, Successful & Influential!!
Not quite there yet

-Have a great career in Advertising and Entertainment - to always be motivated and seek direction
Not even close

-Keep friendships; as well as forming new ones - To reunite with all my friends I haven't seen for a while!!
Okay, I think I did okay with this one!

-Stay healthy - Do more exercises - Join the Gym (again!!)
Have I even stepped into any gym in 2005??????

-Maintain and build on my Creative Strengths as well as learning new languages such as French and Japanese
Keep on dreaming.....

-Be nicer to all my close ones - my family, ming & the girls...
Yes, this one I definitely kept!

-Meet Jay Chou..or Go to his concert...or be his assistant...(whatever comes first!!)
Hrmm.....does meeting Jay Chou on screen counts? Like watching his movie on DVD??

-Go to more events and concerts, meet celebrities like Alicia Keys, Usher and Pharrell to name a few... (Yes, I know..I will always be forever starstruck!!)
Okay not Alicia, Usher or Pharrell in real life, but I did get the opportunity to see Michael Buble live, Hamish and Andy, JD Fortune from INXS ( I saw him outside Medina Grand at Surry Hills next to Bills twice! on Christmas day and NYE!! and was too chicken to approach him to take a pic..:p ), INXS, Sonny Bill Williams.....

-Have a successful side-business venture in mode & bijoux - hopefully with Emily( you can design all the clothes and make singlets while I create accessories!! :) )
Actually, reading this resolution today has inspire me once again to make this a reality very soon..Em, you will always be my inspiration for future designs..

-SAVE!! SAVE!! SAVE!! Aiming to save at least A$15,000
Not quite there yet..hey its hard with all the sales going on in sydney!

-Travelling..yes, I will go to Paris and surroundings!!
Hrmm..the only place I've been in 2005 outside of Sydney was Perth....

** Looking back at the above past resolutions..I can say that in 2005 was more of a relationship focus year..closer to my dad and mum, experiencing living together with ming, hung out heaps more with j, and yen, hrmm..
Career wise, not as expected..still not in the industry I dreamed of..but hey I guess all a girl can do is keep trying and hoping right?

So this new year - 2006......I will make it simple..I want to figure out what I really want! Hah..

Not to forget my closest girlfriends too - I miss you all very much! I have to admit that as much as I think I am a great friend - truth is I am not. Ever since I got settled with Ming, I have sort of lost the "friend" I used to be for my friends.. I am deeply sorry girls! Please forgive me! I wish I can turn back those times..where I should have shown more affection, care, love and much more for all my girls..(and boys) I want to take a new step in my life and initiate more..(perhaps making more phone calls first! and replying to emails for a start!)
